As reported in March 2021, Samsung confirmed that we won't be seeing any new Galaxy Note series this year. But it doesn't mean that the company have killed off the lineup. The Galaxy Note series is the second flagship to watch annually and it may be replaced by the rumoured Galaxy S21 FE in August.

Although we are only in the first quarter of 2021, an independent nonprofit member organization called Consumer Reports has already released its list of Best Smartphones of 2021. In this list, Consumer Reports members tested out 55 smartphones altogether based on basic features like battery durability, displays and other premium functions. So according to their testers, below are some of the recommended phones.

Right after Samsung unveiled the latest Galaxy A series lineup (the Galaxy A32, Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A72 5G) last night, it has been confirmed by DJ Koh, Samsung Mobile Co-CEO that we won't be seeing the Galaxy Note series this year. That said, it doesn't mean that Samsung has buried the Note either.

It seems that there was a report by daily.co.kr which hints that Samsung might not be releasing a Galaxy Note series smartphone this year. Instead, there were hints that the series will be unveiled in the year 2022 due to shortages in chips which not only affected Samsung but also other industries as well.

When Samsung unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, we learn that only the Galaxy S21 Ultra can support an S Pen stylus. But what does this mean for the Galaxy Note series? Although Samsung did confirm that the Galaxy Note 21 series is in development, they seem quite dodgy about it and Twitter leakster, @UniverseIce is claiming that it's the end of the flagship.

Just this morning, we wrote news about how Samsung hinted on the possibility of the S Pen making its way to the upcoming Galaxy S21 series. There were also plenty of rumours that the Galaxy Note series might disappear but a Samsung official disapproved that.
